Easter

This holiday I've really focused on the "real" meaning. It's such a blessing to have this gospel and the knowledge of the Savior. I feel humbled by it all and amazed that it was for me. I'm so grateful! I find it difficult to adequately express the deep feelings that I experience when I really get thinking about my Savior and the truly wonderful gift that is offered to each of us.

Apple Juice

I love apple juice. I really do and I consider myself a bit of a connoisseur. Anyway, a while back I splurged on the Simply brand. They also make orange, lime, and lemonade (which are also all excellent). Well, their apple juice is by far the best around. I used to go to this apple stand in Provo/Orem that would sell fresh juice from their apples--delicious. Simply really compares! AND, it's on sale at Walmart NOW. Try some today!

Adam's Mission Call

My nephew got his call tonight. He is going to the Hawaii, Honolulu mission! He is such a spiritual giant of a man and I know he will only become more so as he serves the Lord. I loved what he said to me over the phone. "It's what I've always hoped for because I love the Polynesian people so much!" That really is what it is about. Loving the Lord, the work, and the people. I love you, Adam! You're going to be an amazing missionary!

Flu

We've been battling the flu for the past week and a half. So, as not to be the spreader of bad germs, Luke and I have been under house arrest. We've felt better the last couple of days. Today was so beautiful outside so we got out, visited Mel and Kai, and went for a walk. It was good to get out and enjoy the sunshine. Hopefully, we'll see a lot more sunshine!
